Then there’s a 3.00 o’clock cascade, a tunnel of secret numbers,
5, 6’s, and 7’s, and large and very large and angry THIRTY MINUTES PAST THREE!
Eight pairs of eyes.
Nine double crescent hooves.
A hat made of porridge.
Step inside my belly like cool hooves pushing in the snow, and you’ll find me waiting for you on the other side.
I think that to make humour is an honour, and to make someone laugh is to turn them on.
Science turns me on too, and I made an installation about the Large Hadron collider at CERN, ‘Flatlanders,’ and was on a panel with renowned physicists Brian Cox and Jim AL-kjalali. 2022, I curated an exhibition about ‘Schrodinger’s Cat’ in London, with guest speakers who were scientists and mathematicians; including Tom Crawford PhD in Fluid Dynamics at the University of Cambridge.
‘I admire comics, fairy tales and religion for their ability to make digestible awkward truths, and think that art is a science of the mind. I made a painting in bacteria of Ophelia, and am in the process of completing my novel: The Sorcerers of Time: an illustrated novel for young adults, where a girl and her horse now find that they can travel between two worlds.
My avant-garde animated films have been screened internationally and on UK television; one won the Grand Prize at Zagreb International Festival of Animated Film
In 2023, I was a part of the international contemporary survey of surrealism at the Crypt Gallery London. Showing paintings; ‘Abduction of the Sleeping Prime Minister, and President’s Breakfast, anda performance
which mocked the coronation of our king :The Self Coronation of a Monkey.
