Hymns To The Marvelous Antedawn

LogoPoetics Apocrypha

Oh Order of Rimbaud’s Suffocating Silence

You’re dreamt, and in dreaming

are dissolute, cthonic candelabra

waking to a shredding sun’s

white noise. The rain gorged lily

showers of drugged seasons,

a hashish dart through the dawn’s

sieve. Your eye opens in a constellate
of moon bamboo set ablaze by pale

angels in stratas of lunar arson,

Rimbaud’s obscene braille squiggled

on their wings.

The boy Rimbaud saves The Morton Lady from a

Chinese Cat, the laudanum striking her umbrella

anaesthetizing the creature, eyes opening and

closing in a dilatory cloud. She skips in reverie

through an accident in the greenhouse’scandy

gloss dome.

Oh Mouth of Shadows, behold

the artificial paradise’s divine anarchy,

beatified by marigold borders

in a maenad’s imaginal entropy.

You will wake to hear an echo

of night’s abandoned

chamber music, the beat

of the Wendigo’s Eldritch Prayer.

Oh Order of Novalis’ Star,

Put Sophia’s ablatory aeons to rest,

her crypt’s hymns harangues

for jackpin aeons of eternal night.

Song supernal of singing stone roses,

insatiable fuse of phantasy’s flower,

   Die Blaue Blumelet.

Sophia sleeps in morbidezza. Her night’s

blessed immaculatos quattuordecim,

her menstrual tears slide under delirious

moons. Behold the artificial kingdoms

beatified by marigold foil borders

of a maenad’s imaginal entropy.

Let the Order of Bergson’s Reverie

Remember: spin in a radial quark

of dilated time, stitched ephemera

quilted inattention in linearity, poet

as chimera in memory’s static index.

Let the Order of Artaud’s Black Star

Begin: Semaphoric bird, spiritual daughters

semiotic points on thorazine shuffles,

spiritual daughters, barbed stars

in bursting black orchard fission,

chamber of drugged noir in abandoned

quiet rooms, zen of tuneless aqua.

In the Logos of The Marvelous, Let This Book o

f Hours and their holographic mandalas seal,

so we might seal the Shadow over the Substance.
